In season: Cara Cara Navel Oranges
Known for their reddish-pink flesh, Cara Cara navel oranges were first discovered in Hacienda Cara Cara in Venezuela in the mid-70’s. It has a sweet but tangy flavor. Great for juicing, enjoying fresh as a snack or on salads because they’re seedless! In-season through April, come down to the market for a sample!
Did you know?
Orange pith has nearly the same amount of vitamin-C as the flesh. When we eat our oranges, we usually peel away the thick layer of skin and remove the bitter white part, also known as pith. But do you know how much healthy content you are throwing away from the tasty oranges
