Saturday San Ramon Farmers Market

9:00am–1:00pm

Join us at our California Certified Farmers Market, managed by Local Roots, a local non-profit.

For the Love of Bread!

The market welcomes its newest home baker!

Joy Plummer is a very talented, self-taught home baker who’s been learning the art of no-knead baking since 1994. First popularized by Jim Lahey, of Sullivan Street Bakery in New York City, no-knead bread is a method of bread baking that uses a very long fermentation (rising) time instead of kneading to form the gluten strands that give the bread its texture. The result is crackling crust, open-holed crumb, light texture, and fantastic flavor!

Please welcome Joy Plummer to the San Ramon Farmers Market. You’ll find her sharing a booth with fellow Danville baker star Tal Sendrovitz of Tal’s Patisserie. Joy’s classic flavors include Jalapeño cheddar sourdough and Whole wheat sourdough filled with goat cheese and roasted garlic – a market favorite!! Come by for a sample!
